Birthdays, Pictures, Easter, and even some Mango

Well March rolled around and that means that Natali had another birthday. The picture below shows Natali on her birthday, having to work as she takes a call. This is a common occurance here where Natali has to work after she gets home. Yes, even on her birthday.

But she did finally take some time to let me sing "Happy Birthday" to her and blow out her birthday candles.

With Natali's birthday being in March, and my birthday being in April, we decided to combine our birthday presents and get a new camera! So we had to take it out and see what it could do. Here are a few of the pictures we took as we went out to White Rock Lake for a little picnic.

I got a little tired of pictures after a while.

This little guy wanted to get in on the action as well.

Owning a house means always something to do outside or inside.

Then for Easter, Mark, Holly and all their kids came to visit us. We had a great time seeing them and hanging out. We had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard. As you can see, Mark and I were pretty serious when we were hiding the eggs. The kids had a lot of fun finding the eggs in all sorts of places both high and low.

Natali had a great time watching the kids trying to find all the eggs. The eggs were hidden so well that I was finding eggs we had hidden months later.

Wembley even got in on the action after a while.

Then things got serious. The kids brought their Nerf guns and had a big Nerf war upstairs. They used furniture and anything else they could find as protection against the other team.

And here is a random picture of a mango tres leches cake I made for Cinco de Mayo. Yes, it was delicious.
