Christmas 2015... don't judge us!

Alright, back to trying to catch up on this blog again so we will be taking a trip down memory lane, back to Christmas 2015. Christmas is the best time of year. And being the first year in our new home, we had a lot of fun getting the house decorated for Christmas. We got a new tree, new decorations, and bought lights to go up on the house. This is Natali's favorite view of the living room.

Christmas time also means holiday work parties. Natali's work always throws a Christmas party that is a lot of fun. Natali gets to buy a new holiday dress and get all dressed up for a night. The other guy she is with cleans up pretty well too ;)

Natali with her best friend Renee

With some work friends.

Christmas lights are also a great holiday tradition. This is our favorite tree here in Dallas. We call it the tree of life.

This year Dan and Launa and Jayden came to visit us and spend Christmas with us. We got to go to see ICE together which is always a lot of fun.

Natali had a great idea for a Christmas tradition where we get ornaments that represent big things that happened in the last year. Here is an ornament of our house. See if you can find Smoochie hanging out somewhere on it.

After Christmas, Jayden took off to see Jaimee and the rest of us flew over to New Orleans to eat some food and see some sights. We got to fly in Dan's new plane and we felt like we were flying in style.

Of course, the most important person on the plane is the co-pilot. Good thing Dan had a good one on the flight so we arrived safely.

We loved looking at all the art in New Orleans. These are a couple of our favorites.

The street art was fun to see as well.

We also had some time to have some fun. I guess I didn't get the memo we were doing a funny face...

We were able to take some time to just walk around New Orleans and see the buildings and scenery the city has to offer.

We saw some of the locals walking around.

We took a tour on a little buggy that told some of the history of the city.

The main part of the tour was going to one of the cemeteries. It was amazing to see and hear the stories of who was buried there and why the cemeteries in the area look like this.

We also strolled around the historic residential area. We had a map and some info on the houses that we followed and tried to see as many houses as we could. The history in the area is amazing.

Randi started coming out to do Natali's hair, so we had to show her all around Dallas. Randi came prepared with he cowboy boots and cowboy shirt and belt buckle. She kept asking us where all the cowboys were while walking around Dallas. Well, Dallas doesn't have a ton of people walking around in cowboy boots and wranglers, so we decided to take her to the cowboys. First we went and saw the horses at Las Colinas.

Then we went over to Fort Worth and went to the stockyards. Randi felt right at home. She thought it was better than Disneyland.

These two had a little too much fun so they had to spend some time in the clink.

We let them out on good behavior and then went to watch a rodeo and trick show. We had a lot of fun.

Unplanned clothing selection, can you tell these 2 are sisters?

Then in February, Sam and Melissa decided to come out and visit us! We decided to show them around the Fort Worth Zoo.

Sam was amazed by the... bushes? I think there are some animals somewhere out there ;)

Here are just a few of the animals.

And of course we had to take them out to the stockyards as well. If you come out to see us, there is a good chance we will go out here. It is a LOT of fun.

You might even get a new hat if you come and visit us. Dang we all look good

Sam and Melissa were her for Valentine's Day so we had a special dinner. Sam and I put our heads together and made a pretty fancy meal for our sweethearts.
