Well Dana, Jason, and Lucas had such a good time they had to come back and visit again. They found a professional wake-surfer in Dallas and came out to take some lessons and perfect their skill. Randi also came out again to do Natali's hair, but this time she brought her oldest daughter Austyn with her so we had a house full.
We went to the Fort Worth Zoo to show them the animals. Lucas particularly loved looking at the animals.
Looking at the monkeys...
Austyn and Randi also had a good time.
Jason enjoyed it thiiiiiiiis much
For Austyn's birthday present, Randi brought her out to Dallas to have some fun and eat some good food. We were so happy that she chose to come visit us as he birthday present, but we felt a lot of pressure to make sure she had a good time. Austyn is quite the cowgirl so of course we had to take her out to the Fort Worth stockyards to see the rodeo. Austyn at one point even went down and joined in the fun as they tried to catch a calf that they let loose. She got close, but she'll have to come back again to actually catch it next time.
And of course the birthday girl got to sit on the longhorn and take a picture.
All of Randi's trips end the same way, doing Natali's hair while watching nature documentaries. I think they were watching "Africa" this time.
One perk of living in a big city is that there are always cool things to do. One of those things that Natali loves is when famous musicals tour through Dallas. Natali LOVES Wicked so when se saw it was coming through on tour she decided to pick up some tickets. Natali's best friend Renee came along as well.
